Art doesn’t just fill space—it fills you.

Art doesn’t just fill space—it fills you.

10 years ago was one of the most depressing times in my life. I was a newbie in the corporate world—dealing with challenging workloads, long commutes, financial instability, and a heartbreak. That low point pushed me to bring my art back to life.

For context, I’ve been drawing since Kindergarten. The back of my notebooks were filled with Goku and Vegeta—to the point na pinalo na ko ni mama. Hahahaha! I became an editorial cartoonist, and in high school, I’d always join poster-making contests (syempre may kamay na hawak ang Earth hahahaha)

I stopped drawing when I entered college, thinking I had to focus on my degree—Programming/Web Dev.
When I decided to pick up art again, I used my 13th month pay to buy materials so I could draw every weekend (after ko maglaba haha) That was also the time Facebook was on the rise. Then Guhit Pinas came in. Then Vector X Vexel. Then I discovered calligraphy and lettering—and I instantly fell in love. That was the moment my story changed forever.

Now, here I am. History was made.
And yes—art will save you.
